AAPOR memberships run from January to December of each calendar year. Dues paid during October, November, and December will be applied to membership for the following year.

Honorary Lifetime Membership

Long-term AAPOR Members may qualify for an honorary lifetime membership in AAPOR to thank you for your remarkable dedication to your association and profession!

Requirements for Honorary Lifetime Membership in AAPOR include:

  • Held membership with AAPOR for at least 25 years
  • Attained the age of 65
  • Relinquished full-time employment

If you have achieved all three of the required criteria, congratulations! You are eligible for complimentary lifetime membership in AAPOR. Honorary Life Members receive all of their AAPOR membership benefits, including access to AAPORnet, online access to Public Opinion Quarterly, the Journal of Survey Statistics and Methodology, and Survey Practice, the AAPOR newsletter, and other communications as well as reduced registration fee to attend AAPOR’s Annual Conference.
