About Ashley:
Ashley Amaya is a senior survey methodologist in the Pew Research Center. She is also the former Editor-in-Chief of AAPOR’s online journal, Survey Practice, and a former associate editor of RTI Press. Ashley has acted as a reviewer for several journals and served on the AAPOR Conference’s Abstract Review Committee. Her own work has been published in a variety of methods journals, including AAPOR’s Public Opinion Quarterly and the Journal of Survey Statistics and Methodology. |
Description:
This webinar will walk through the publication process. It will outline the most common methods journals and their primary foci, provide a timeline of the publication process, describe what editors and reviewers are looking for in a successful manuscript, and offer a few tips for writing and addressing reviewer feedback. |
