The AAPOR Annual Golf Outing will be held on Thursday, May 16, at Royal Woodbine Golf Club with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $75 per golfer (club rental is extra).  From the raw beginner to the most skilled player, Royal Woodbine Golf Club can be enjoyed by all AAPOR attendees. If you love to play golf or just love to have a “good walk spoiled” in the outdoors, make plans this year to arrive early enough to play a round before the AAPOR Annual Conference begins.
Fun Run/Walk
Saturday, May 18, 7:00 a.m.
Check in at the hotel lobby at 6:30 a.m.

AAPOR’s Fun Run/Walk will be held bright and early on Saturday morning, May 18. If you would like to enter into some competitive early morning exercise, or simply enjoy the morning air, this is just right for you! All participants will receive bottled water. Register for the Fun Run/Walk online or at the Onsite Registration Desk. Conference volunteers will be available on Saturday morning to guide participants to the starting line. A waiver must be signed on site to participate. Awards will be given to the top runners and those record-breaking walkers.
Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. in the hotel lobby.
Speed Networking
Session 1: Friday, May 17, 3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Session 2: Saturday, May 18, 12:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Location: Grand Ballroom East

Two Speed Networking sessions are offered each year at the Annual Conference. These interview opportunities are designed for those who are new to the field of survey research, those looking to make a change in their career or anyone interested in learning more about key organizations in our field. Conference attendees may sign up for 15 minute sessions at the registration desk or during the networking session. A list of companies participating in the speed networking sessions and a sign-up sheet will be available at the registration desk. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards!
Reserve Friday, May 17, from 3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. and Saturday, May 18, from 12:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m., to join Speed Networking.
AAPOR Book Sale

The Annual AAPOR Conference conforms to the OPM definition of a “developmental assignment.” It is intended for educational purposes; over three quarters of time schedule is for planned, organized exchange of information between presenters and audience, thereby qualifying under section 4101 of title 5, United States Code as a training activity. The AAPOR Conference is a collaboration in the scientific community, whose objectives are to provide a training opportunity to attendees; teach the latest methodology and approaches to survey research best practices; make each attendee a better survey researcher, and; maintain and improve professional survey competency.
