Participation in the ‎76th Annual Conference ‎is limited to registered participants. Conference registration includes:

  • Admission to all program sessions (excluding Short Courses, which require an additional fee).
  • A mix of live and prerecorded sessions ‎
  • Video chatting with exhibitors and fellow attendees
  • A care package mailed to the address of your choice (U.S. attendees only)‎
  • Access to the conference platform—including session recordings—through March 2022

Short Courses

How to Add A Short Course to Your Registration

To add a short course to your registration, log in to your meeting profile, confirm your demographic information, and continue to the online meeting registration page. There will be a message saying that you have already registered. Scroll down and click the “Add to Registration” button. Go through the registration process again, add the course(s), then proceed to the checkout page. Once you are here, you will only be charged the additional fee for the short course(s) you chose.

Payment Instructions

Registrations must include payment by credit card, check (drawn on U.S. funds from a U.S. bank) or bank transfer of funds in USD only. Wire Transfers within North America will incur a $30 USD fee and wire transfers outside of North America will incur a $45 USD fee. We cannot accept registrations by telephone and will not accept registrations without full payment. If you require a paper registration form to pay via check please contact AAPOR Headquarters.

Registration Confirmation

We encourage you to register online. Attendees will receive an email confirmation/receipt within 24 hours of registering online. Allow up to five business days if registering by mail or fax. 

Cancellation and Change Policy

Notification of cancellation must be submitted to AAPOR headquarters in writing via email. A $100 cancellation fee will apply to cancellations received by April 13, 2021. No fees will be refunded for conference or short course cancellations received after April 13, 2021. Attendee substitutions are allowed at any time, but must be submitted in writing and the substitute must be the same member status or additional registration fees may be needed.

The Annual AAPOR Conference conforms to the OPM definition of a “developmental assignment.” It is intended for educational purposes; over three quarters of time schedule is for planned, organized exchange of information between presenters and audience, thereby qualifying under section 4101 of title 5, United States Code as a training activity. The AAPOR Conference is a collaboration in the scientific community, whose objectives are to provide a training opportunity to attendees; teach the latest methodology and approaches to survey research best practices; make each attendee a better survey researcher, and; maintain and improve professional survey competency.
