SCOPE:
The AAPOR Award for Exceptionally Distinguished Achievement is the Association's lifetime achievement award. It is given for outstanding contributions to the field of public opinion research. Contributions include but are not limited to: advances in theory, empirical research and methods; improvements in ethical standards; and promotion of understanding among the public, media and/or policy makers.
NOMINATIONS:
Please nominate a person, group or institution that has made major contributions to our field, has the kind of stature and deserves the kind of recognition represented by the contributions listed above. Please submit nominations and any supporting documentation by filling out the nomination form. Nominations do not need to be signed, but should include a detailed statement in support of the nomination. 2021 AAPOR Award nominations are due by Friday, January 15, 2021.
JURY PROCESS AND AWARD RECOGNITION:
Entries will be evaluated by a committee chaired by AAPOR’s President. The Award is presented at the Annual Conference. The Award may not be given every year. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
