AAPOR has endorsed a statement from WAPOR that objects to a requirement of the National Election Panel of Peru that polling organizations disclose their respondents' personal identity information. The requirement - since rescinded - would have forced them to violate the profession's code of ethics, and restricted their freedom to conduct and publish public opinion polls. The AAPOR Standard Definitions Committee announces the 7th edition of Standard Definitions: Final Dispositions of Case Codes and Outcome Rates for Surveys.
